¡¡¡¡Introduction of the undertaker:
¡¡¡¡Changde Tobacco Machinery Co.Ltd,situated in the middle of Changgeng Road,Changde city,is under the direct leadership of China National Tobacco Machinery Group and one of the backbone enterprises being engaged in the production and operation of tobacco machineries.ª¥
¡¡¡¡In 1998,the company was defined to be the first lot of technical innovation enterprise by the National Tobacco Monoploy Bureau,a hi-tech enterprise by Hunan Provincial Science and Technology Commission in 1999 and passed the certification of ISO9000 international quality system.ª¥
¡¡¡¡There are 1054 staff members,including 431 workers for primary production,93 workers for auxiliary production and 142 engineers.ª¥
¡¡¡¡By the end of 2003,the original value of fixed assets is 32.975 million USD,net value 26.482 million USD.In 2000,its economic index is as follows:gross industrial value of 19.15 million USD ,sales income of 19.26 million USD,the profit-tax of 16.12 million USD and the profit of 601 thousand USD.In 2001,the gross industrial output value is 24.78 million USD,sales income of 22.04 million USD,profit-tax of 3.44 million USD and profit of 1.23 million USD.In 2002,the gross industrial output is 34.20 million USD,sales income of 31.81 million USD,profit-tax of 5.20 million USD and the profit of 2.46 milliion USD.ª¤
¡¡¡¡Market:ª¥
¡¡¡¡The demand for daily use paper is increasing quickly.According to statistics,the output of paper in 2002 is 30 million tons but its demand is 38 million tons.Th e demand for daily use paper accounts for 10 per cent of the total demand for paper.In 2003,the output of toilet paper is 2.75 million tons but its demand is 3.10 million tons.So the market potential is great.ª¥Paper machines.There are over 800 paper mills for toilet paper,but the annual capacity in the most of these mills is 400-1800 tons.The mills with the annual output being over 60 thousand tons are Jinhongye Paper Mill in Jiangsu province,Weida Paper Mill in Chagde city and their capacity accounts for 9.2 per cent of the total capacity of daily use paper.90 per cent of the market quota is occupied by small sized paper mills with the annual capacity being below 60 thousand tons.Except the above-mentioned three mills with high-level large equipment of semi automation control,the strongest competitiveness and strength,the other mills have backward equipment,low-level automation,manual operation and limited technology.Especially the post-processing packing procedures are carried out manually and 200-300 farmers are employed to pack manually in each mill.One mill in Xi'an city,Shaanxi province,has over 600 migrant workers for packing.Moreover,most of packing workshops occupies a large area with poor working condition.Presently,the paper machine manufacturers at home only manufacture large paper-making machines¡¡and the manufacturing of packing machines for daily use paper is still under development.ª¥
¡¡¡¡According to our market survey,the output of daily use paper packed manually accounts 50 percent of its total output,about 1.38 million tons.If the manual packing is replaced by packing machine,over 2200 packing machines are needed (200 packets per minute).ª¤
