¡¡¡¡In order to implement the agricultural industrialization and 5 one-million-mu project sponsored by the city government,6.06 million USD have been jointly invested to constitute Hunan Sunshine Dairy Industry Co.Ltd,by Hunan Jinjian Cereals Industry Co.Ltd,Hunan Dongting Aquaculture Co.Ltd,and other 5 companies in July 2001,and the total fixed assets is 8.485 million USD.ª¥
¡¡¡¡There are 7 milk cow farms completed or under construction and 3500 heads of cows an hand.ª¥
¡¡¡¡There is a dairy manufacturer with the daily capacity of 50 tons,producing pure fresh milk,sour milk,lactic beverage and multifunctional milk,etc,20 varieties of products.ª¥
There is a qualified staff team with a lot of specialist for cow farming,development,manufacturing and marketing of dairy products.Mr Wang Jiaqi,one of the 15 doctors in dairy products in China,acts as the vice general manager of the company.ª¤

¡¡¡¡Changde is in subtropical monsoon area with distinctive seasons, warm climate, plenty of sunshine and rainfall. The annual average temp is 16.5¡æ,the annual average rainfall is 1310 mm, the annual sunshine time is 1530-1870 hours and the frost-free period is about 270 days with the average relative humidity being 81%.
¡¡¡¡Changde city has become the largest energy base in Hunan province. The average price of power for industrial use is 0.47 yuan per KWH, 0.41 yuan per KWH for keyindustry, 0.17 yuan per KWH in low peak time. Establishment of power plant is encouraged.ª¥

It is accessible to Changsha southward, Yueyang northward, to Chongqing upward and Shanghai downward through Dongting Lake into Changjiang River on waterway with the navigation mileage being 1758 km.ª¥
