¡¡¡¡Lixian county is a large traditional agricultural county and the national famous production base of grain,cotton and oil,and paddy rice-paddy rice-oil is the main pattern of agricultural production with the production of rapeseed and cotton occupying a considerable portion in the agricultural production of Lixian county.Production area.The permanent production area for rapeseed in Lixian county is 53.3 thousand hectares and cotton is over 10 thousand hectares.ª¥Oil output.The permanent output of rapeseed and cottonseed is over 100 thousand tons and 10 thousand tons respectively.

¡¡¡¡Linli county,Anxiang county and Shimen county,around Lixian county,are also large counties of agriculture.Gong'an and Songzi counties in Hubei province are alsorich in rapeseed and cottonseed.The total output of rapeseed and cottonseed in the region is over 500 thousand tons and 80 thousand tons respectively.ª¥Oil quality.The new variety of high-yield rapeseed is spread greatly and its quality is improved with very low content of sulfur glucoside and erucic acid which  is harmful to health.ª¤

¡¡¡¡Changde has been given the honorable titles of National Hygiene City,National Gardening City,China Excellent Tourism City,National Civilization City and National Excellent Transportation Control City by the state.ª¥

¡¡¡¡Changde city has become the largest energy base in Hunan province.The average price of power for industrial use is 0.47 yuan per KWH,0.41 yuan per KWH for key industry,0.17 yuan per KWH in low peak time.Establishment of power plant is encouraged.ª¥
