¡¡¡¡Resource:ª¥
¡¡¡¡The western Dongting Lake, Yuanshui and Lishui river basins are rich in lake islands and river shoals that are suitable for planting reed. Only Anxiang County, Hanshou County and Lixian County cover a reed area of 200 thousand mu with an annual reed output of about 150 thousand tons. ª¥
¡¡¡¡On the basis of the existing reed area, the present output of 700 kg per mu can be increased to 1 thousand kg per mu by strengthening the scientific management and improving varieties and the production condition with an annual increase of 240 thousand tons being achieved. ª¥
¡¡¡¡The Dongting lake area in Hunan province is the key reed production area in our country and is the key papermaking raw material base in Hunan province. The present reed base covers an area of 850 thousand mu with an annual reed output of 600 thousand tons.ª¤
¡¡¡¡Market:ª¥
¡¡¡¡The output of paper and paperboard in our country takes the third position in the world. But the average per capita consumption quantity is 56 kg lower than that in the world and much lower than that of 200-400kg in the developed countries.So, our papermaking industry needs further development. The rapid increase of paper and paperboard causes the shortage of paper pulp in the market that has to be imported for a long time. 2.1993 million tons of paper pulp and the waste paper of 1.9147 million tons were imported in 1998, and the paper pulp of 3.0979 million tons and the waste paper of 2.5164 million tons, and the paper and paperboard of 6.5225 million tons imported in 1999. It is estimated that the demand for paper product in 2005 in the whole country will be 45 million tons and 60 million tons in 2010, where the daily use paper will be increased nine folds within 10 years. The shortage of wood pulp will reach 18 million tons till 2010, spending the foreign exchange about 10 billion USD. The bleaching reed pulp has a wide market prospects in the world, especially in the countries that are short of wood resource, and reed, wheat straw and grass are used as raw materials for paper making, especially in India. ª¥
¡¡¡¡There is a wheat straw pulp factory with a daily output of one thousand tons in Hungary and a reed pulp factory with a daily output of 200 tons in Turkey with their products being marketed all over the world. So is the case in our country. Jincheng Paper Company uses 100% bleaching reed pulp to make the offset printing book paper, and Jinhe Paper Company uses the selected rough dregs of the bleaching reed pulp and 1-2% bleaching reed pulp to produce low grade toilet paper after they are treated properly. This shows that the reed pulp can be used for producing not only the culture paper but also the daily use paper. There are 12 small papermaking factories at present in Changde city with the annual production capacity of 150 thousand tons paper and the annual consumption of paper pulp of 150 thousand tons. They are making the pulp by themselves taking reed as their raw material, which must be stopped recently according to the demand of environment protection, instead of the commercial pulp. So, this project has a good market prospect.
¡¡¡¡Construction:ª¥
¡¡¡¡Power supply: The newly increased electric power for the project is 40 thousand KW. A 110 KV transformer substation shall be built. ª¥
¡¡¡¡Water supply: The newly increased water consumption volume for the project is 80 thousand £e/day, which needs a water pumping station with 6 sets of water pumps 14sh-19A being installed. The company is located at Dongting Lake area on the east. Xiangjiang River, Zijiang River, Yuanshui River and Lishui River near the company connect the Yangtze River. The water for the production can be pumped from Lishui River which is rich in water with good quality, and it can meet the production demand after it is disposed simply.trafficª¥Waterway: The factory is located at Dongting lake on the east with a convenient transportation in all directions, namely to Dongting lake, Yangtze River, Wuhan city and Shanghai. ª¥
¡¡¡¡Railway: Shimen-Changsha railway is only 50km away from the factory.ª¥
¡¡¡¡Highway: The national highway 319 goes through the county. Changsha-Zhangjiajie expressway passes nearby, accessible to Changsha on the south and Hubei on the north.ª¥
